Graphic 45 Shadow Box

Today I have a very special project to share with you!
I have created a large shadow box with the Graphic 45 Olde Curiosity Shoppe for an upcoming class at Scribbles and Giggles, a local scrapbooking store.

I had so much fun creating this project and I just can't wait to teach this class! I already love G45 and especially this collection (it was my favorite from the winter release) and to make such a large item with the papers was a lot of fun. I used some acrylic paints, modeling paste, Distress inks and of course the beautiful papers to pull it all together. The idea was to create a piece for Father's Day so I tried to keep it rustic and distressed looking. It was great working with these Ikea shadow box frames because the white mat (that surrounds the layout) is such a large canvas so there is tons of room to create extra layers and really make it so much more than a layout!

I hope you enjoyed this peek at my upcoming class! If you are in the Central Alberta area and would like to attend the class there are 11 spots available and the class date is June 2nd. You can find more details over on the classes page of my blog or on the Scribbles and Giggles Facebook page.

Thanks for stopping by!
