Dylusions Spray Ink

Well today I want to show you a set of cards that I created for a class using my new Dylusions Spray Inks and some stamps. I am head over heels in love with these sprays even though they don't have any glimmer! The colors are so bright and cheerful and they mix to make some very unique colors and patterns.

Here is a peak at the cards:

You see what I mean about vibrant colors?! With the Dylusions mists water also works well to help blend the colors. On the tag below (which is the one I used for the card shown above), I misted the #5 tag with water and then sprayed Lemon Zest, Squeezed Orange and a little Bubblegum pink right on the bottom. The extra water just helps them float along the surface and blend smoothly.

A ghosting effect can be achieved using the Dylusions mists as a background. In the picture below you can see how I created a solid background of mist on white cardstock then I placed a Crafter's Workshop Template down and misted water over it. I then used some paper towel to absorb any excess water. The pattern can be seen clearly in the background of the last card.

There are just so many great ways to use these mists and the shocking colors make it just so much fun. If you want to see the creator of these magnificent inks at work visit her site here. Dyan Reaveley is truly a color genius and has a whole line of stamps and stencils to coordinate with her style and these mists!

Thanks for stopping by I hope you were inspired to take some time and get your fingers inky today!

Chelsey
