March Calendar Layout

This month I used the For Always Workshops on the Go kit to create the calendar layout. This paper is beautiful! There are six different patterns all done in black and white. I've always liked black and white paper because it is so versatile and can be inked, sprayed, etc to match whatever project you are working on.

Here is the sketch I created for this month:

A: 12”x12” black cardstock
B: 11”x11” red cardstock
C: white paper doily
D: white paper doily
E: 2 1/2”x10 1/2” chevron patterned paper
F: 2”x8 1/4” black doily patterned paper
G: 1 3/4”x7 1/4” script patterned paper
H: 1/2”x 7 1/4” black and white damask patterned paper
I: 1/2”x9” polka dot zip strip
J: 1”x4” script patterned paper
K: 1 1/2”x1 3/4” black and white damask patterned paper
L: 1”x1 1/2” black doily patterned paper

Other Supplies:
Back and Silver Shimmer Trim, Silver Glitter Paper, Artiste Cartridge, For Always Scrapbooking Workshop stamps, Ruby and Topiary ink pads, Sparkle Flourish, For Always Assortment flowers, For Always Textiles, black pen, white gel pen, alphabet stickers.

As a bonus this month I was playing around with the new For Always Textiles seeing how I could work them into my projects. On the layout above I used some of the fabric to created a rolled flower and then I cut small flowers with a die and stacked them together using a brad to make a puffy flower.  On the card below I used my sewing machine to make some ruffles and then glued them to the card.

Thanks for stopping by,

Chelsey
