Creative Friday: Playing with India Inks

Happy Saturday!

This week I got a new set of Dr. Ph. Martins Bombay India inks and I was itching to play with them in my art journal. They are bold, vibrant inks that are permanent when dry.

I did a simple emboss resist using a Prima stencil, Versamark ink pad and white embossing powder. Then I used A LOT of water and the India Inks to add colour to the page. To finish it off I edged the pages with Walnut Stain Distress ink.

Here is the video of me creating this page:

It was a pretty quick page to make and fairly simple, but I had fun experimenting with my new inks!
Sometimes it's nice just to keep things simple and not over work the pages.
