October Hearts of the West Blog Hop

Welcome to the Hearts of the West team blog hop!

If this is your first time joining us you will love it. It features Close to my hearts Consultants from all over Canada showing you their projects. The Hearts of the West was founded by Nancy Klein.
This months challenge is Scaredy Cat paper pack, brought to you by the new Annual Inspirations, hand picked by Nancy Klein.

If you came from Sonia's blog then you're in the right place, this is a go around blog hop so you can start anywhere! Just in case, the full list will be at the bottom. So, as always, grab your coffee, tea, water, relax, and hop around the team with us.

I love the Scaredy Cat paper pack! The patterns are so cute and of course I love the purple. I used the paper pack, Compliments and Assortment to design my page. I also stamped the images from the Frightfully Fun stamp set and coloured them using the ShinHan Touch Twin markers. I don't usually take the time to add machine stitching to my page, but for this page I added that extra step of stitching around each block of patterned paper. I really love how that turned out and it was totally worth the extra effort.

ShinHan Touch Twin Marker Colours: Y222, YR24, P282, P83, Y49, 0, WG4, WG7.

One of the great things about this paper pack is if you don't typically create Halloween projects, many of the patterns are versatile enough to use for many other themes.
Here is a simple card I created using some of my left over scraps.

Your next stop is Julie's blog.
Thanks for joining us this month and come back next month to see what crafty projects we can bring to you! Thank you for stopping by and please feel free to leave a comment.
