Hearts of the West September Blog Hop

Welcome to the Hearts of the West team blog hop! September's Edition. If this is your first time joining us you will love it. It features Close to my hearts Consultants from all over Canada showing you their projects. The hearts of the west was founded by Nancy Klein

This months challenge is Pathfinding paper pack, brought to you by the new Annual Inspirations, hand picked from Nancy Klein.

If you came from Justine Hovey's Blog then you're in the right place, this is a go around blog so you can start anywhere! Just in case the full list will be at the bottom. SO as always grab your coffee, tea, water, relax and hop around the team with us.

I used the Artbooking Cricut cartridge (p.72) to cut out the tree overlay and the title. I used gold glitter paper from the Brown Glitter paper assortment for the word grateful and I set my speed to medium and pressure to high. The leaves were stamped out onto Colonial White cardstock with Tuxedo Black Momento ink and then coloured with the ShinHan Touch Twin markers. I did really quick colouring on the leaves (B1463 Thankful Heart) by using the chisel tip and applying colour right over the lines. I then cut the leaves out and used Liquid Glass to adhere them to the page.

What a Hoot!

Happy Wednesday!

Today I want to show you the super cute Stamp of the Month set from Close to my Heart and some really simple cards I made using it. When you purchase $50 (before tax/shipping) from my site this adorable set can be yours for only $5!

This stamp can only be purchased during the month of August since there is a new Stamp of the Month every month!

Here are the simple little cards I made using this set. I love how fun and easy it was to paper piece these images!

On this card I used the ShinHan Touch Twin markers that Close to My Heart recently started carrying. They blend really well and give a similar look as Copic Markers.

I love this super cute stamp set and it has so many applications from baby cards/layouts to birthday, Halloween and so much more!

Remember to visit my site and check out all the wonderful new products that Close to My Heart just introduced with the newest Annual Inspirations Idea Book.
