DIY Travel Journal

Every time we go on holidays I always like to make a small travel journal to document what we do everyday. Usually by the time I get around to scrapbooking the whole trip it has been months (or years!!) and there is no way I'll remember the details of our trip. I try my best to sit down each night before bed and write what happened, or at least a brief outline of our day.

For our latest trip we were fortunate enough to take an Eastern Caribbean cruise with Close to my Heart as a free incentive trip that I had earned with team building and sales points. If you would like to find out more about this opportunity I would be happy to share it with you!

There is a beautiful paper collection in the current Idea Book called Regatta and the vibrant colours are perfect to document a cruise!

I first made six envelopes out of kraft paper and then I nested them together following this tutorial. I like using envelopes because this creates automatic pockets where I can store even more photos and journaling!

Then I decorated the pages using the Regatta paper collection, the Regatta ComplimentsMaritime Puffies and some graph paper (which I love for journaling).

If you would like to purchase some of these products, they are only available until the end of April 2016. You can shop all the products on my website chelsey.ctmh.com.

Thanks for stopping by,
